NATO Order of Battle 1989

Post by LEBTowerGuy »

In my research of military world of the late 80s and early 90s I found this document that lays out nearly the entire NATO alliance's forces circa 1989. It gives aircraft, units, sometimes number of aircraft, as well as ground forces and their garrisons. It is quite in depth.

Wow, what a really detailed and useful document Matt. It's just about optimal for the Cold War retro period and I can use the listing to scan for possible projects. Thanks for that.

Nobody have got the same doc in 2013 ? to see the differences... less aircrafts, certainly.

It would have no more than a dozen pages, I think
