Bummer Gary, but from reading other forums it sounds like the place is an absolute mess.

Barry if you've got loads of space perhaps you can put up all the UK guys, because between flooding and terrorists it's getting too bloo*y dangerous over here!

Cheers

Bummer, airshows only happen usually once a year, at least here in the states. Any chance they'll try to make it up sometime again this year?

Reason why show was cancelled

Post by globemaster »

Hi all, I work for East Mids Amb Servive and some of the Duty officers covering the show said that the waste vehicles could not get to the portaloos to empty them, and they were pretty full from Saturday.
I was there on Saturday, and the best display was from the Typhoon.
It did 90% of it's routine in the perimiter fence and all below 1000ft.
The tacticl display would of been awesome if they had got off the ground, although some consilation were the two GR4's from Marham. They had come from their own base and were already airborn, and they did 2 passes over the field using up the pirotechnics layed out inline with the runway.
The heat was amazing from the fireball that came up and the simulated cannon firing along the length of the runway was amazing.
