Some ..other heli traffic

Because we can't let the Black Hawk and its many variants have all the attention...

Really cool.

I always forget how big those beasts are until you see it parked next to other sizable machines.

Torzhok. They host Mi-8s, Mi-24s, Mi-26s, and KA-50's, although as far as I can tell, the last one hasn't been modelled yet. It's also another one of those units with an impossibly long name, having recently become the "344th Army Aviation Centre of aircrews combat training and transition".

And as seen from above. Missing a few parking spots as well as the infrastructure, which thankfully won't need much by way of objects. There's a few buildings, but other than that it's just trees and shrubbery all around.

The last step will be picking up a Danish-Russian/Cyrillic dictionary, so I can make heads and tails of the various paintkits

The Mi-26's are on the UTT website already, but just about all of the real life regs/codes are missing. The Mi-8 and Mi-24 were quick 2 minute hackjobs for the purpose of getting them in the sim. If ever I get my head around the paintkits for them, I'll post them.

My apologies for a lack of updates, but it's firmly parked in a dusty corner of my hard drive, along with many other projects. So many things to do and not enough hours in the day to do them all, and on top of that I've been hunkered down on some courses for the past few months, in preparation for a new job I'm starting next week.
