Crossing Your DMZ soon!

Post by clickclickdoh »

As was asked by complete coincidence in another thread, it turns out that there is a DPRK project coming soon:

There are more than 100 of these puppies coming soon:

Due to the fact that North Korea has no airports to speak of in default FS9 or FSX, a few locations had to be created to make this work:

Red are full scenery airbases. Blue are highway strips and green a local community airports.

And now for the Forum Feedback portion. This project includes a number of An-2s painted in black schemes, the navigation lights turned off and the cabin lights changed to a dim red (good luck finding them on a dark night without AI labels turned on  ):

We know that it's just no fun having North Korean An-2s in the game if they are going to respect the DMZ. We have already configured the flight plans for several of these raiders to sneak into South Korea. If there's any location you would like to see them try to sneak to, let me know before I code the final few flight plans.

I remember hearing a rumour years ago, that all the gold courses near Seoul had to have anti-STOL mechanisms installed, for fear of DPRK using the well-groomed greens as landing zones.

.. which reminds me, I think I have a Vietnamese An-2 project parked off in a dusty corner of a harddrive somewhere.

My recommendations would be the major USAF bases OSAN and KUNSAN, ROK air fields, as well as CP Tango (Tactical Air Naval Ground Operations Center).

Off to the Download Hangar with this one. Final count is 122 aircraft in seven paint schemes. There are four total places where the raiders will try to sneak into South Korea.

North Koreans should be raiding your sim next time the Hangar is updated.

Brent, the dear leader would like to have a word with you.....

(I'd post his picture but they would probably hack our site)

I thought about teasing the package with the "I'm So Ronery" song from Team America.

Somehow for once in my life restraint won out.
