Canada receives first C-17

Post by CelticWarrior »

Reported in Jane's Defence Weekly this week....

The CAF took delivery of the first of four C-17 aircraft on 8 August. Canada announced the re-activation of 429 (T) Transport Squadron based at Trenton, Ontario. The first aircraft was due to become operational on 12 Aug with the second delivered in October and the remaining two in 2008.

Anybody planning to do any repaints for this?

Saw the real thing at Abbotsford - never thought I'd see the day. There's a repaint by Keith Clifford over at flightsim.com for Mike Stone's C-17. :D

Hopefully Alphasim will have the Canuck repaint when their's is released.
