A few weeks ago myself & a couple of friends of mine went on a road trip to East Anglia, for the week we were there we mainly based ourselves at RAF Mildenhall but did trips elsewhere as well. These included a few museums (which I won't put any pics of here), a trip to RAF Lakenheath & spending the afternoon at RAF Marham where we just happened to time it with the family & friends day that was happening on the base. The weather wasn't great apart from a few days of nice weather, for example when the RC-135U came in the cloud base was less than 300ft. That said we still got some great aircraft that week, with plenty of KC-10's (I think there was 9 of them on the ground at Mildenhall at one point)

Re: East Anglia spotting 2021
What an interesting set of photographs Dan. Thanks for posting them and for an enjoyable 20 minutes this morning.
It's good to see the P-47 back in the UK after it was sold to the USA. The Strikemasters are nice to see too. I was watching the tracks of 3 Falcon 20's on FlightRadar24 exercising with Typhoons from Coningsby the other evening. The KC-10A from Travis, 86-0034, I painted the other week. The Typhoon Display paint scheme looks better than I first thought from those angles. Oh, and there's one photo of particular interest in what I'm about to start next.

Re: East Anglia spotting 2021
Cheers John,
The P-47 has been in the UK for a few years now, 2018 I seem to recall, but I agree it's always great to see one. Especially as we seemed to follow it around all week The Typhoon scheme is absolutely stunning I reckon, although there are a few people out there who don't like it at all, each to their own I suppose.
I'm looking forward to seeing an ai Monnett Sonnerai I in the future then

I'm not a fan of the Typhoon colour scheme, but never mind. Some great pictures, Dan. I even have a couple of these in my logbook!
