F-15 AI afterburner effect question

Post by Joseph29 »

I installed the alternet afterburner effect that can with the MAIW Seymour Johnson package and I have a question. I am not really seeing a difference between this and the original afterburner effect. What am I looking for with the new effect. And is this just for the Seymour Johnson F-15's? Or all F-15's?

The read me said it supposed to give the afterburner a blueish color to it right? I am not seeing that.

I think you have to change the afterburner lines in the aircraft.cfg so it points ot the new effect. The lines looks like this.

light.6 = 2, -24.75, -2.45, -2.80, fx_f16_ab
light.7 = 2, -24.75, 2.30, -2.80, fx_f16_ab

fx_f16_ab needs to be changed to name of the replacement effect.
