I wonder how strange the sensation is for a pilot that has never flown the Raptor before. I mean the first time has to be wild. I bet those guys are grinning so hard they can hardly talk.

I'm sure the training is quite rigourous to get one used to something like that.

Does anyone know of any that have passed through the UK?
Watching that vid makes me think if I took a quick glance thinking I could hear an F-15 from Lakenheath, that it could of been an F-22

Well you wouldve heard them. The F-22 has such a distinctive sound. When I was working at Nellis last year I saw them alot, and they sound like Airwolf with a howl on idle.
