Post by lewis »

Hi all
A little treat for you guys. Been doing a repaint of Henry T's C-130 in (DOH) what else, Blue Angels of course, since no one has done it yet, I'd gave it a try, and it looks Ok. What do you think?

I think we absolutely need the other Blues number 2 to 7  better if they come with a new good real AI Hornet

Good work Lewis.

Good attention to detail, with the Rocket Assisted Take-Off packs on the rear portion of the fuselage. Looks great all around. You could go ahead and do the paints for the current AI F-18s, so we could have some Blues' traffic, until better models come along.

F-18 i n Blues

I could do the rest of the F-18 #'s 2 to 7 if you guys want. The only problem with this particular model is that the fin/rudder uses only one texture for both sides making the right side a reverse texture of the left, all the numbers will be reversed. But I will start on the other aircrafts as soon as I can.

F-18 Blues 2-7

Post by lewis »

Ok. Here are the rest of the team. Now we need someone to make the F/P as I am no good at that. I haven't uploaded these nor the C-130 yet in case MAIW could like to use them for a package, so I will wait for a contact from the MAIW staf first.

Best wishes , Lewis

Not trying to rain on your parade. You're Fat Albert looks great. But I have a Fatty repaint of Mike Stones C130.

You Angels look great too. Can't wait to see them in my simulator.

Thanks. I also have Mike Stone's C-130 in Fat Albert uniform, but it is not a suitable AI aircraft. The model I used for this acft. is Henry Tomkiewicz's and it is solely for AI, so anyone making Blue Angels flight plans have the complete set. As you may have noted, I also repainted the F-18 from Hiroaki Kubota, also for AI.
