If I exclude an object and then taxi my plane through the excluded area (with crash detection ON) will I crash into the invisible building? Thanks in advance,

No. As I understand it excludes remove the object completely, not hide it.

I ues exclude builder and have never had a problem with it.
It's easy to use and will exclude single or multiple objects, whichever you prefer.
I highly recommend it.
