Translation: Chris would like to see more aircraft from the German Air Force, including older ones.

Chris, welcome to the MAIW forum. The forum language is English. There are participants from many nations here, and English is the key that we can communicate with each other.

MAIW has released 120 packages, all for free. Without them the military skies in flight simulator would be empty. They do this as a hobby, and they build and release their favorite aircraft.

Real AI helicopters are a brand new development, with key elements invented here. Maybe they will do a Tiger, maybe not. Let's wait and hope.
Cheers,
Martin

Hallo Chris,

ich bin Deutscher. Schick mir eine PM, wenn du Hilfe mit Englisch brauchst. Ausserdem sieht es so aus, als ob dein letzter Beitrag hier nicht ganz angekommen ist. Das liegt wahrscheinlich an den deutschen Sonderzeichen, die alles Folgende dann hier im englischen Forum abschneiden. Habe ich auch am Anfang erlebt

Gruss
Jan

Hello Chris,

I am German. You may send me a PM in case you need help with the English language. Also it seems your last post was cut. It is possibly caused by a german symbol you may have used which cut the words following it. I experienced this, too, when I started here

Cheers
Jan

I'm glad we have members who can translate for us. I believe, not 100% sure, but I believe there is a Tiger AI model in that Australian ADF AI package isn't there??

No problem, mate! I am happy to help visitors.

 maybe we could have a sticky topic where people could post their language skills? I am sure people could help a lot on research when using their native language instead of you searching for information (e.g. active aircraft/squadrons, aerial images for creating scenery, etc.) in English

Example:
Sprocky
German - native
English - pretty well
Spanish - limited but a few
Russian - enough to find the stuff I need from avsim.su

As a polyglot myself, I consider Babelfish.yahoo.com as my unofficial translator - unfortunately, it doesn't translate Ebonics very well (then again, what does?)
Why waste 'trons for a snappy signature when I can use this?

English - Good (better than Dutch.... haha)

Spanish - Quite OK

Portugese - Quite ok but better than Spanish (and the Brasilian style!)

German - Reasonable

Maybe that helps! :D

I envy you guys that can speak & read other languages. The school systems here in the States are really lacking in language education. When i was a kid I understood German as I lived there when I started Grammar school. Alas that was sixty years ago.
