Hello all
Just a quick look at my current project. Before anyone asks, it will be ready for release late June hopefully. Just the details to be put in and bits to be tidied up etc, but as most developers know those are the bits that take the time LOL. Sat image will be included in the release.
cheers
Ian

Stop cheating and going around with your new digie camera!!
Awesome stuff, might have to start using FSX just for this.

Re: FSX RAF Coningsby
Thanks for the comments guys, I must say the accuracy would not be possible without the 1500ish pictures I have taken on camp. I probably have more material on Coningsby than I ever will on any other active base. I am fortunate to have access when I need it.
That being said a heck of a lot of hours of editing is required in photoshop to get the textures looking right, and the faces to match each other tone wise. Performance is good as per usual for our latest releases, Ive worked hard to ensure the extra details such as road signs and light poles etc dont effect the FPS. The Fs9 version will be identical bar the sat image, because Fs9 is limited to 4.7m per pixal, I have removed the builidngs and taxiways/roads within the wire much like the Twins bases ground tiles for Fs9. With them it looked untidy at low res.
For those that didnt see the poll on our forum, Lossiemouth (followed by Leeming then Lakenheath) got the most votes for my project following Coningsby. My future releases will be limited to all detail bar the camp areas . The camp area for Coningsby has taken a heck of a lot of time to build. Without it I could have probably built Coningsby in a couple of months.
Cheers
