Fort Hood (KGRK) AFCAD

Post by delbydoo »

Hey peeps
I'm all googled out looking for an AFCAD for Fort Hood so that I can go and watch (even play with) Dales Dutch AH-64's - if anyone has a private one that they don't want to share publicly but won't mind the "odd" person having a copy providing he/she/it doesn't spread it around, please let me know? With strawberrys on top??
Thanks

OK please disregard previous post - me being dumb again  Dale did state that he DIDN'T include the Fort Hood helo's as that unit will be closing down next year.......but I did eventually find an AFCAD though

They are actually based at Ft. Hood AAF (KHLR) on the same ramp as the 21st Cav. What AFCAD did you find? I am trying to learn ADE9x to make both Robert Gray AAF(KGRK) and HLR.

It was a basic AFX for FSX using some generic Rwy12 objects by John Patterson over at flightsim.com
File is kgrk.zip.
They are actually based at Ft. Hood AAF (KHLR)
Which would answer why I was getting confused......

If you would like me to test any of your work, I'd be pleased to help

Cheers

Nice find, I'll check it out, although I am using FS9.

The KGRK AFCAD would be a good set up for the "helo runway" as we use "B" taxiway as a helo only runway real world, also known as the East parallel. All civil/military fixed wing traffic to 15/33.

I am too - I just opened it up using AFX and re-saving as a FS9 file, seemed to work OK

Yeah rookie mistake on my end trying to use that AFX file. Any chance I get a copy of your converted version?

Being the one that did the repaints on Dale's helo package, I do have the Ft. Hood AH-64's, if anybody is interested in them, just PM me and I'll be glad to send them to you. Lewis
