Michael Pearson's been busy

Post by CelticWarrior »

On Avsim now, a whole bunch of 'Eastern Bloc' repaints

Who's going to be first to release flight plans for them? (Someone's going to be busy)

Quite a few packages there to say the least. There are a few flightplans for the Kazakh paints in the My Projects section, but stacks to add to now...

When I worked at the Avsim Library, the staff used to run a mile when the saw Mike's name

He always releases in batches and it took ages getting them processed on to the site.

The retro BA stuff he uploaded yesterday looks fab as well. they look so much better than the modern BA livery.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

I'll be busy as well tonight: I have to do the flightplans for all that stuff!
Logically speaking, the next release should be the Indian Su-30s!

I'll do the fp's for the Malaysian su30's and something a little special as well if no-one has any objections.

Ok, I'll do the Venezuelan Su-30s and the Hungarian Migs!
Do you have in mind to do the Malaysian MiG-29s as well? If so Malaysia would be complete, I already have flightplans for the TUDM Hornets (repaints by Ray) and I'll post them in the "My flightplans" thread.

All the pilots of SU-27/30 are blue. Try to find the right texture to add without result.... :(
Someone know the solution?

Thanks, Giorgio

The pilot textures are in AI_sib_weapons.bmp. If you have any of Rays paints copy that file over and you should be fine.

I believe the original textures didn't have the pilot painted so if you were using one of those as a base you get the blue pilot. I think Ray found it out when he was painting the Ruskie fleet, I seem to remember a thread about it when the model was first released.

The pilot textures are on a texture sheet called AI_sib_weapons.bmp and AI_sib_weapons_L.bmp.
The SBAI Su-27v2 (and all other Flanker variants) shares the pilot and weapons textures with the SBAI Mig-29v2.
These textures are included in the SBAI Mig-29v2 package.

I'm working on the Su27 & MIg25 flight plans for Kazakhstan and should have them online tomorrow. And then I need to get started with those Russian bombers...

Yesterday night I've finished to merge various repaints of the same model under only one Dir per aircraft model.
Now, my sky have 402 new AI aircraft.... WOW :!:

If someone is interested in the aircraft.cfg, let me know.
