I am doing a manual install of this package and in step one it says to delete the file “Traffic_USAF_ANG_AKIslands_Eielson.bgl” from your “Flight Simulator 9/Scenery/Scenery” folder. If I do that will I loose all of the C-130's from that Alaska ANG package? Cause I don't want to loose those

Never mind. I did not realize there were 2 files with similar names. Traffic_USAF_ANG_AKIslands_Eielson.bgl and Traffic_USAF_ANG_AKIslands.bgl

Another great package, thanks!

Just Henry's name at Avsim front end is misspelled ... it's 13 ... why should it be 13?

Maybe I can determine what is wrong

That is actually the problem, Tom. I have the textures but my aircraft.cfg did not change.

well as I'm at work I can't reproduce the aircraft.cfg.

the error is in the aircraft.cfg and can be fixed easily if I can get my hands on a aircraft.cfg file that is ok.
Could some try to extract to a manual installation and see if the aircraft.cfg does come out ?

Here are the two F-16 aircraft.cfg files produced on a manual installation, I've renamed them for obvious reasons........ :D

Edit:- file removed to avoid confusion with the corrected file.

okay, these confirm that this is the problem I was thinking.

F-16's have the problem that the flightsim entries in the aircraft.cfg were spelled [Fltsim.0] instead of [fltsim.0]

Since the first letter was a Capital F the installer doesn't recognise them as fltsim.x entries.

So in order to fix the problem of the F-16's not turning up in the aircraft.cfg is in the problem above.

Fix to cure the problem until the correction is available:

do a normal install first
then do a manual install and open the aircraft.cfg's for the F-16C and D in that installation.

Do a FIND and REPLACE on both files and change [Fltsim.] to [fltsim.]
Then copy the aircraft entry's to the aircraft.cfg's in your WoA_HTAI_F-16C and WoA_HTAI-F-16D folders on your system.

this should fix the problem until the fixed package has been uploaded.

in the attachement you can find 2f-16 cfg files that have the issue corrected
