Did you notice these guys are buying and modernizing Air Force very fast.Here is the list:
Modernisation of 105 an-32
Modernisation of mig-29 on UPG standard
Planned modernisation of su-30MK and producing new to total of 272
Modernization of mirage-2000 plus additional buying of two second hand
M-MRCA 126 worth 12Bn + $
C-17 10 worth 4.1bn$
C-130J-30 12
3 EmB-145 are upgrading to AEW&C
12 AW-101 for VIP
Mi-17V-5 71
P-8I 9
Recent tenders
For 56 transpirt aircraft worth 2,4bn$ C-27J or C-295
For 6 tankers worth 1 bn$ A-330 win
For 15 helicopters worth 1 bn $ CH-47F win
For 22 attack heliciopters worth 1.4bn $ AH-64 win
For 16 NAVY gelicopter forth 1bn $ NH-90 or S-70B
For 75 trainers worth 523 mil $ pc-7mkII win
They are working on FGFA (PAK-FA) with russia
Tejans is in production to reolace Mig-21s
Two contract for Mig-29K

The Chinese and Indian restaurants on my street have been at war for years...not a Cold War more of a spicey kind.

And India vs. Pakistan won't be far behind..... It's no wonder why India is buying weapons like they are going out of style. I'm guessing they'll want the F-35 at some point.

And they have selected the Rafale over the Eurofighter beginning this year. With the EADS scandal that is just emerging any chance this get reconsidered is most likely gone.
