Over the past few years our Air Cadet Squadron (119 Scunthorpe) has supported the Mailly-le-Camp Commemoration Support Group in the remembrance ceremonies in France

Today it was the turn of a contingent from France to visit us and as part of this was a visit to the site of RAF Elsham Wolds in North Lincolnshire
The memorial to 103 & 576 Squadrons is inside the Anglian Water Works and includes a very fasinating couple of rooms as a museum
The museum is not accessible to the general public but can be viewed by appointment with the RAF Elsham Wolds Association
Note the Pathfinder wings on the top pocket

Group Captain Tim Nicoll (rtd) Thanking the cadets and getting a happy birthday in return
I have the contact numbers should any group or individual would like to visit

I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Re: Mailly-le-Camp
Lovely set of pictures in a very special looking place.
Nice to see the Pathfinder badge on the uniform as well, hadn't seen that for a long time.
Many thanks for posting.
