John Young - Douglas C-47 Skytrain

I guess some might say these are too dark, but I like the atmosphere. Over a Norway fjord... (a terrible lie, but I suppose it would look that way :smt002)

Nice shots Martin.
Just think back to that era when different types of aircraft were set to work on clandestine missions.
Weaving in and out of the Fjords to their destinations then return back to England.
Thought you caught the flavor quite nicely.

Have you had many complaints from the folks that operate the Milford Sound Lodge about the late night, noisy flights of C-47 and C-130 aircraft ? Tourists do complain about such things. :smt003 :smt005

Now that OrbX provides Norway I no longer have to molest the folks that operate the Milford Sound Lodge :smt002.
These are actually the first non-technical screen shots I made in the last 4 months. Horrible how fast you get rusty....

I guess I should dedicate these to Giorgio - I hope you like them, my friend :smt001. Let's call it a surprise encounter while patrolling the Fjords......
