For the Brits: NIMBYs

Post by CelticWarrior »

I'm calling on all British readers to look at

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/a ... rticle_id=
468619&in_page_id=1770

If, like me, you manage to calm down, I'd ask you to sign the petition here.

Please forward this information to as many people you can think of.

If you would like to object directly to the planning committee dealing with the hearing, then please PM me and I'll pass the relevant details.

Thank you.

(edited because I can't get the code to work with the first url)

What disgusting, selfish 'people' those residents are, a common problem in this country, no respect for anyone but themselves.

I am not from the UK and never been there (3 yrs in Germany), but have had the pleasure of meeting many from the UK while in the Army, I would sign the petition.

Thankfully common sense has seen the day and the objectors were overuled by a unanimous 17-0 at the Council's planning committee meeting. :D SSAFA will now convert the property so that it can be used by the families of those being treated at DMRC Headly Court.

The Prime Ministers petition has received over 43,000 signatures. Thanks to all of you who supported this issue.
