Vintage USAF

The Collings Foundation flies some of their restored vintage aircraft around the country during the summer.
Here are a few pix of 3 bombers that visited KSPI last week.
The handsome young man in the pix is my grandson Jacob.

Nice pictures Kevin.

The B-17 and B-25 come to KPWT every year. If I remember correctly the B-17 is the only flying one around. Some years back it ran off the runway and crashed and they had a heck of a time rebuilding it. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

They were just in KDPA less than a month ago. I believe it is the B24, that is the only one flying. There are a number of B-17's flying, altough the number keeps getting smaller.
