Re: Issue with John Stinstrom libraries
I thought the purpose of posting the screenshots was to confirm success, not failure. Why post them if they are not working for you?
For FSX, download the FSX version of the Global Objects libraries. They contain most of what you want, including some from John Stinstrom. This is the link:
https://militaryaiworks.com/download-ha ... bjects-fsx
If you want to use any of John's other libraries not included in the above, then you will need to convert them yourself, for your own use only. You will need ModelConverter x to do that. This is the link:

Re: Issue with John Stinstrom libraries
You will probably find that your computer is set to use a comma ( , ) as the decimal denominator. That won't work for MCX, so you would have to set it to use a period ( . ) instead.
However, if you download the MAIW Global Library, as John linked to in his reply above, it includes all of the objects from mao and euromil already converted to FSX format.

huh this you told me where I can find it. You will probably find that your computer is set to use a comma (,) as the decimal denominator. It won't work for MCX, so you should set it to use a period (.).

Re: Issue with John Stinstrom libraries
So, is your question - "how do I get MAIW FSX Global Object Libraries" to work with Instant Scenery? That would be a good starting point, so you can see what's in there, rather than getting into library conversions with MCX until you really need to.
I don't use Instant Scenery, but someone here probably does who can advise on how to set up the libraries.

Re: Issue with John Stinstrom libraries
now I'll explain better
so i downloaded and installed model converter x and airport designers
and here everything is ok
i saw how they work and i understand how they work by seeing the videos too and ok then i wanted to know one more thing about the global object libraries MAIW FSX how i do them ah put on instant scenery anyone who uses instant scenery knows and i read this too
They can only be used in the "Airport Design Editor" and "Instant Scenery" scenario design tools. Will they work independently if you are designing for FS9, FSX or P3D and why don't they come out to me? this way I mean

Re: Issue with John Stinstrom libraries
I'm not clear what you are asking. The objects in the MAIW Global Libraries are .bgl objects. They have to be placed with a program - most usually ADE or, perhaps EZ Scenery if you are not bothered about designing 2-D ground scenery.ALEXFORZINI wrote: ↑12 Mar 2021, 17:25

Don't worry about converting via MCX for now. You need to first work out how to place the library objects, with whatever program you are going to use in whatever sim version. That's now become more confusing because you are now referring to FS9, FSX and P3D. I thought you were using FSX with EZ Scenery?
Most people here use ADE for placing objects, but you might strike lucky and get a response from an EZ Scenery User. On the other hand, doesn't the EZ Manual tell you were to install libraries and how to place them? Sounds like pretty basic and essential information. Are you sure EZ Scenery, which is an FS9 program, can actually interface to FSX and P3D if you were indeed going down the latter route?
You confirmed "Yes" to my summary of what I thought you wanted to know. I tried to pin it down, but now we are going around in circles again.

Re: Issue with John Stinstrom libraries
I quoted EZ not "ex". EZ = EZ Scenery.
EZ Scenery does use .bgl files, I have a lot of them in my static objects library:
Sorry, I really can't do any more for you. It's just eating up my design time and I'm no closer to understanding your problem.
