Hazardous Duty in Paradise!

Post by GZR_Sactargets »

Flossie Watch: The Air Force Reserve Command's "Hurricane Hunters" from Keesler AFB, La., are in Hawaii tracking Hurricane Flossie. The Honolulu Star Bulletinreports that the specially configured WC-130Js from the 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron have flown several six-hour missions within the eye of the storm since Aug. 12, transmitting data to the National Hurricane Center in Miami. (From the AF Times Daily)
