Re: Sud Aviation/Aérospatiale Alouette II
What is the "rocket" version?
Just because there was a Dutch version with wheels, doesn't mean I intend to make it, any more than I'm intending to make the SA3180, the Alouette III, or other Gazelle versions for that matter. I just need to contain my time on this.
I see that you are an FS9 user. The Alouettes are for FSX and P3D.

Re: Sud Aviation/Aérospatiale Alouette II
I believe that's the SS.11 anti-tank missile. I don't have any 3-views for that set up, but I think I can do it by eye. It would add significantly to the polygon count, but if I just flight planned two or three, that would be OK. Let's see what I can do.
I have 13 individually numbered Alouettes successfully operating out of my modified Fritzlar scenery in FSX and P3D, so all good there.

Re: Sud Aviation/Aérospatiale Alouette II
I think this should do it for the armed version. Any of the paints can be allocated to this model:
These are the Alouettes in my modified Frizlar scenery:
The French, Swiss and Belgian singleton paints are included in the flight plans as visiting aircraft:
The Alouettes operate from a small grass strip in front of their apron. The main runway is too far away for a realistic taxi.
Next job is to write a manual I think.

The Alouette package is now finished and uploaded to Martin so he can add it to the Download Hangar.
This has been an enjoyable project with some significant challenges with the glass and engine, but it was of a manageable size to prevent me getting bogged down with it. A paint kit has also been uploaded.
Enjoy.

Re: Sud Aviation/Aérospatiale Alouette II
Thanks John. Now installed with scenery and helicopters looking great. I had a problem which might be encountered by some FSX users. The version of Buckerburg that I am using has an exercise location using ETH2. The conflict with your ETH2 resulted in no AI at Frizlar. I removed ETH2 from Buckerburg and all is now fine.
Thanks again,
John D.
