Hi Pete.

Yes, this is a change with the latest version. You may have noticed that if you change a field, it will stay salmon colored. Even when you change the flightsim section and return to the one where you did the change, the field will turn salmon again. This is so that you can easily keep track of all changed fields.

atc_heavy is a checkbox that has a "" vaue if not present and if present it has either "0" or "1". So in order to allow for the color concept to work I simulate the "not set" value if atc_heavy is not present in the aicraft.cfg.
Cheers,
Martin

OK that makes sense (I think). Also getting constant crash reports whenever I change between folders that contain different colloections of aircraft, i.e. between MAIW_AFRICA_AIRCRAFT & my general AI Traffic Aircraft folder sets.

Ver 4.3.1.0 win11 P3DV4.5

Just found another problem Martin. When viewing in external Model Viewer if the A/C paint is in a Sub-folder it does not show but as soon as i go to a paint in a single folder its fine.
Example:
\GAI HTAI Beechjet 400a\Texture.N909ST\400A.dds (shows in model viewer)
\GAI HTAI Beechjet 400a\Texture.Aliserio\I-TOPF\400A.dds (Does not show in model viewer)

As most of my paints are in a sub folder (by Airline) this is a bit of a problem for me !

Regards

Yes its the same. It seemed to work for the first couple of switches between paints on some A/C types but then reverted to showing the same paint whatever was selected. Going back to a [fltsim.x] entry without a subfolder entry seemed to clear it but switch back and the problem re-appears. Not sure if this is pertinent but when looking at paints of smaller size it seemed to take longer (3-4 shifts) for the error to appear. 1024x1024 dds5 verses 2048x2048 dds5.

Could you please package me an aircraft that has this texture structure for download and test, Pete?

I cannot simulate this issue here.

I setup a JYAI Vulcan like this:

texture.27\27_XH534
texture.27\27_XH537
texture.27\27_XH560
texture.27\27_XH563

texture.44\44_XL319
texture.44\44_XM575
texture.44\44_XM594
texture.44\44_XM612

texture.101_XL360
texture.101_XM602
texture.101_XM648
texture.101_XM657

The viewer always shows the correct livery.
Cheers,
Martin

Feels a bit of a weird one here.

Have just tried adding a sub folder to airMadagascar and reloaded AIAE and it shows the FIFATrophy paint (The previous paint I looked at). Reverted to its original folder structure and it shows up correctly. Sometimes the sub-folder paints show up correctly but then after going to another paint and returning it again shows a previously shown paint. Strange !!

Let me know when you have either downloaded the B737 folder from the FTP or have finished with it and I will remove it so Greg does not get upset at space useage :-)

Yes, please do, Pete.

Is anybody else involved right now in testing except Steve and Pete?

I see no more crashes, which is good. Is the application working as supposed to?

A very convincing update to v4.3.3 appeared in the app but picked up by AV and quarantined.
