Hi Carl
Yes I've got the AI package but the AI Models although excellent only have one LOD. To be a really FPS friendly AI a/c you need to have many LODs. Most have between 5 to 7 LODS. This is why MAIW will be producing our own.
Plus they will have more 'eye candy' e.g. boarding ladders, ground equipment etc. Also the TU-160 will have animated 'swing-wings'. The current AI TU-160 has its wings fixed in the fully swept position which looks silly on take-off and landing!
Cheers

Great screen shots. I just love these Russian a/c. I've found Putin's IL-96 as an AI and now he's jetting around the world
Actually he flies in a Russian State Transport IL-96, but I suspect its been modified a tad

Yep. I found that "presidential aircraft" also. Pretty cool.
FWIW, if you want to "translate" a Russian webpage, try using either Babelfish ( http://babelfish.altavista.com ) or Prompt.ru at this link: http://www.online-translator.com/srvurl.asp?lang=en
Though I speak and read some Russian, it's not enough to read most webpages. Also, as with most online translators, there are not only words that are not translated, there are some really strange grammatical constructs after the translation. Still, you should be able to discern the gist of most sentences.
One hint, oftentimes switching back and forth between those two sites/translators will get you at least a 90% readable translation.

That's RAF Fairford.
It hosts the largest international mil airshow in the world. We often get RAAF, Brazilian Air Force C-130s (their crews run a continuous Samba party under the wings of their bird!), plus the Russians and Israeli aircraft. If you are ever coming to the UK make sure its that weekend!
Its a really friendly airshow.
I was there when the B-2 made its first public appearance outside of the USA, it came in with two F-15 escorts did a few fly-bys and then headed home.

Hey Gary,
I think it was included in the package as indicated earlier in this thread:
http://www.avsim.ru/files.phtml?action=download&id=2754
Quite some time ago I posted screenshots of this package on the the Mil Forum which is momentarily 'temporarily unavailable'. Once this is back online I will check if I can find this post, it's a cool package!
If you pm your e-mail address I can send you the model in zip format.
Greetz,
Ed

Here are some more. I got to see the 22 at KOMA. It was the civil version in here to haul some kind of Ground shock machinery used for seismic exploring. The machinery was made in Iowa, but for some reason they chose to load it up at Eppley in Nebraska. It is a big airplane!!
When I was in Intelligence Center Pacific (IPAC) this was a frequently reported scenario.

You can have some fun with the RIAT scenery also. Someone posted some shots here earlier.
Also while I was at IPAC, Victor Belenko took his Mig to Hakodate, Japan.
Neat that today you could visit the Kremlin without being on a strike sortie. But I understand that overflights are not permitted at all.
