E-2 Hawkeyes in the UK?

Post by globemaster »

Last week, I heard a prop plane at about 15000 ft heading south, and it looked like an E-2, so grabed the bins and was convinced that's what I saw.
I naturally thought it was transieting the pond to some hot place via Mildenhall, as I have seen Egiaptian ones in photos passing through.
Today, departing Waddington, again I saw another ?E-2. I was driving so didn't get a propper look, but defo had same three tails and the radome.
Has anyone else seen it, or is it my imagination?
Thanks
Sven

French E2 Deployed to Waddo, Still there tonight, believe heading back to France tomorrow at some point, Diverted into Leeming today due to Low Fuel.

This week they have been using DAMO as their Call signs.
