If I could figure out how the heck you download his models I could tell you for sure.

His models are all single LOD with included sound files and multiple texture files in each texture folder. So other than being a lower poly count than a higher quality user model, they're simply user models labeled as "AI" with no panel or VC.

Can you use them as AI, yes, by the MAIW standards are they true AI models, no. Put 50 of them on a ramp with custom scenery and I think you would see a significant drop in performance.

Too bad since they are really nice models.

Well it depends on your definition of "user friendly". They are not what the majority of users out there would consider to be "AI" models however.

I have on my computer an AI PC-6 I downloaded from avsim that claims to have 858 polys with 4 LODs. It looks pretty good with the 2 textures that came with it. FWIW

Thanks Joe, that's certainly an AI model.

4 LOD's with 1588 polys at LOD1 and 806 polys at LOD4.

I've got 4 flying on my limited laptop with no issues, changed the airfile to the stock Dash8. Most USN squadrons only have 4 anyway. Still trying to work on repaints.
