AI T-6 Texan II

Post by Reggie »

Is anyone working on a T-6 Texan II for AI? Or is there a KCBM package coming with an AI T-6? The Tweets are all gone now. The regular T-6 Texan II for FS2004 uses too much memory. If you have several on a ramp such as Columbus AFB, it really slows down the CPU and starts things jumping around. And I have a dual core processor, very fast.

There was one in development, but not sure of the status. The one you have is the Friswell PC-9/T-6A model that as you stated is not an AI model, and be found in a few packages here, like Oman. I have a few flying from Laughlin, Randolph, and Pensacola using that model and some repaints done by a member here. Search "texan" in the forums and you'll find some info.

The ones I have flying from KDLF (Laughlin AFB) work good there since the AI airspace is pretty sparse, but my frames still take a hit.
