Dalaman 2010 (LTBS)

Post by Johnny Test »

Does anyone have any idea how I can find the scenery author of Dalaman 2010 (LTBS)? He posted his new scenery yesterday at Flightsim.com (FileName: ltbs_dalaman2010.zip), but there's no contact info whatsoever. I've noticed that he's using a couple MAIW files (ng_MTO_MAIW_hookbarier.bgl & MAIW_Texture_BAKsystem.bmp), so i'm hoping he's a member here. Just want to let him know that the texture on the tires of the Patriot Missile Launchers are missing (click below thumbnails).

I downloaded it yesterday from flightsim and the textures are in there. Have you looked through the texture folder for them? I say this because there is an odd glitch that occurs randomly with addons where the sim doesn't call the textures properly, so they might be in there and just not showing in the sim. You can fix this by copying the texture file to the main FS9 texture folder.

As far as I remember the Patriot launcher was made by Jim Dhaenens. I think I also had that missing texture issue with the FS9 version of his Patriot package. There is also an FSX version. I think I found the textures there.

The files dtire_LM and dtire are missing.

@hawk_sh : You were right. The files are in patmslx.zip at fltsim.com. You only have to convert them from .DDS to .BMP.

Personaly I think there are more files missing

Pack doesn't seem to be available any longer. I was really hoping to look at it to see which files of ours he is using. I would like to know cause no one ever asked us.

If you're talking about the Dalaman 2010 scenery, it's still there at FlightSim.com's file section (3rd page).

Anyone know if there are any MAIW objects in the scenery, I see one of my textures in there......

I don't feel like actually installing it in game, he used about a bazillion different files for it, that'll do wonders for the FPS....

I didn't see any MAIW objects, just ng_MTO_MAIW_hookbarier.bgl & MAIW_Texture_BAKsystem.bmp. And the FPS is great btw.

If it's ours we need to get it down.

You'll probably have to contact the FlightSim.com folks, cause this guy has no contact info in his readme's at all. :?

present in the download are the following:

ng_MTO_MAIW_hookbarier.bgl
MAIW_Texture_BAKsystem.bmp

he is also using
C130 - HTAI
AiVER CN235M-100 - Graham King repaints
HTAI F16C - Graham King repaints
HTAI F16D - Graham King repaints
AI Transall C160 - Fernando Martinez

All apparently without any attribution

There is also no contact information to the owner

At least uploading to Avsim requires an e-mail address so we can contact him now.
