Give up mate...it looks brilliant though? Is it Tarin Kowt or Bastion? Or somewhere totally different base completely?

It's not Kandahar, but it could be Bastion - or somewhere else in the Afghan dust...

Thanks everyone 8)

Sand is everywhere and everywhere is sand, that's exactly what soldiers say who have served over there

It's not in Afghanistan though...

I admit that it's a little heavy on the frames

Mostly around 50 when flying the Alphasim Blackhawk. Worst case: FPS around 30 when all objects and AI aircraft are in view. That's on my E8400 @ 3.66 MHz / 4GB RAM and GeForce 8800 GTS 512 @ 680/1007.

That was going to be my guess, although I would not want to replicate that place even in flightsim, it's that bad!

Don't forget the USN medevac (HH-60H/MH-60S) team there as well.

Al Udairi/Camp Buehring about finished now; added the USN medecav team and two MQ-1 Predators. All AH-64 and CH-47 helos from Simmons AAF are deployed to this desolated sandbox. Take-off and landing takes place simultaneously from the runway and the primary taxiway for smooth AI traffic operations.

Never heard of this one before I used my good friend G00GLE. I agree with you. It's just a camp in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a neverending beach.

Thanks for the nice words :-)

I will try to share the scenery and flightplans somewhere this coming weekend. I will also make a list of the waypoints and airfields I used and provide the ones that I made myself.
