Thanks for continuing the project. I just got back to Ft. Hood and knew of the 21st Cav disestablishing, trying to figure out where all the tails went.

How about National Guard at KBDL Hartford, Connecticut?
I'm curious to know if anyone has any photos or knowledge of how the CT National Guard Bradley International Airport - Hartford CT KBDL looks from ground level?
I would like to finish my version of this airport which I have modeled in Sketchup and used Model ConverterX to import to FSX.

CT ARNG units stationed at KBDL:
Since you already have a scenery under way, I just did the Paints and FPs for these. Included are 6 CH-47F, 1 C-12 and 1 UH-60. I couldn't locate anymore serials for UH-60s still assigned here. Every other one I found ended up having been transferred, retired, or even once sold at auction. If more are located and verified I will include them. A modified version of the AFD from the MAIW Great Lakes pack has been included to put these units at least in the right geographic part of the airfield.

I have a bit more work to do with Connecticut National Guard at KBDL. I stumbled across an additional photo of the Army Aviation Readiness Center and will be able to add a little more detail to faces of the main building.

Re: US Army Rotor Wing Aviation
Continuing on with another release where I'm sure someone has made a better scenery than I could ever hope to do:
Co B 1-169th AVN from Birmingham, Alabama.
http://www.mediafire.com/download/axmlo ... ngKBHM.zip
If you have the BHM AFD file from the MAIW package you can change the already present CH47 parking spots to 1169 and everything will work just fine.

Re: US Army Rotor Wing Aviation
I could possibly work on KBHM and model the ANG and Guard buildings. I just might experiment with accurately bending the roof of the main terminal. There is enough shape and texture challenges here to keep a guy busy.

Re: US Army Rotor Wing Aviation
Please continue, really great to finally get some Army Aviation (even Guard/Reserves) into the sim. Sadly, like the sister services, it is very hard to keep up with changes.

Re: US Army Rotor Wing Aviation
Oh the continuing will continue. The MS guard CH-47Ds are almost finished being painted. The NG units are getting first draw because I've been on the road a lot and they are easier to do. If I get some down time I'll look at the regular line units and the airfields that will need to be created to get them in the sim.
Right now, with so much to do, I really am just scatter shooting around the map. So, if there are any favorite units that you guys would like to see first, let me know. Obviously, Rucker, Campbell, Bliss or other major jobs will go to the back of the line for a while.

No issues, be as scattered as you need. You got the main one I wanted in, 1st ACB. Rucker would be a good one.

Co B 1-111th Avn Mississippi ARNG
http://www.mediafire.com/download/7d3lu ... ngKMEI.zip
Since I couldn't find a useful file for KMEI, I tossed together a quick 2 day scenery. Don't expect any miracles from it.
Usual suspects for scenery libs needed:
Atsugi
Beaufort
Fence JS
ga hangarers SS V3
GGSE
JGSE
Lights SS V2
MAIW ABO
MAIW Aircraft shelters
MAIW Cargo

Re: US Army Rotor Wing Aviation
The AL and CT ARNG have new CH-4F's which have a different paint color. MS ARNG still had D models which are the darker green.

Re: US Army Rotor Wing Aviation
That is correct. The US Army is currently flying two basic colors for the CH-47s. New F models are in the sand color and the Ds are in dark green.
To help sort it out, CH-47s that I've painted so far (not counting the JGSDF ones which are all Js):
Fort Hood package:
RNLAF: CH-47F Gray
US Army: CH-47F Sand
Redmond Taylor Army Heliport
US Army: CH-47D Green
RSAF: CH-47D Green
CT ARNG: CH-47F Sand
AL ARNG: CH-47F Sand
MS ARNG: CH-47D Green

Re: US Army Rotor Wing Aviation
Ok,
I know for the two colors, i'm not sure that the Fort Hood sand model does not appear the same sand color.
