Very nice. Thank you that will look nice in the IAF AI package as part of the IAF reserve fleet.

Steve Ritchey flies an F-4 in his Mig-killer markings. He was at the Offutt airshow a couple of years ago. Not sure who owns the airplane though. :?:

The late Mark Hanna who, along with his father Ray (who founded the Red Arrows in 1965), created the the warbird collection at Duxford, (now named the Flying Machine Company). Mark flew F-4Js in RAF service and was allowed to buy his aircraft intact and is on static display at Duxford in the American Hanger, now in its original USN colours.

Despite the fact of his 'RAF pedigree' he was not allowed to fly it once it was in private ownership. A real shame, we in the UK will never see a F-4 fly again. We used to get the occasional GAF F-4 over here at airshows but that's a rarity now.

Not yet, mate, but I am already salivating at the thought of them. I have plans for the ghosts of Bentwaters, Alconbury and Wattisham all rise from their graves!!!

Ahem, it occurs to me that I really need to outside occasionally.

Hows the RAF F4's coming along?
fmm40fr

Post by fmm40fr »

The only model which can appear before FSX must be the F-4B (not completely sure). RAF variants FG1 or FGR2 will be released after, for compatibility purposes. Of course, the FG1 can only appear after the release of the Ark Royal.

Fernando, Sorry I havent posted a thank you sooner, but I want you to know that your C/D Phantom is a real treat. Any news when the RF and the E/F/G models will be released? Bad weather (winter) is coming, so more time for FS cant wait.
Thanks Again

Superb. Thanks for the heads up, Fernando.

The only annoying thing for me is that I am off to the States in the a.m. for a month, so I don't get a chance to play with them. Still keep 'em coming.

N.B. It appears that AVSIM want to keep them to themselves for a bit, not being listed yet, so check in a couple of hours.

A month...

Just a note about the avsim title : I'm not responsible of the title displayed : McDonald Douglas F4B. My initial idea was : F-4B AI for Alphasim's Enterprise
I dont know who, but someone at avsim have its own idea of how have to be named submitted files. That becomes a real problem for me, because it is not the first time.
Like I wrote tonight to the library managers, Daffy was always my favorite. This is unacceptable.
