Re: FSX Brize Norton Scenery
It is possible to convert libraries back to FS9. I did this with an FSX scenery for Mount Pleasant. What is not possible to convert the afcads 100%. Tools like AFX, and presumably ADE, will load the newer afcads fine and will save them to FS9 standard but will therefore drop any features not covere...

Re: FSX Brize Norton Scenery
Next... Is it possible to take this (or the new one here on MAIW) back to FS9? Grateful of your thoughts and expertise!

Re: Fairford
I'm guessing it's not something that can be converted to FS9? I used to use ADE9 but that was 10 years ago and I can't remember if there was a process... I've just fired up FS2004 after a decade away, lol. Looking for UK scenery and hoping someone has completed my past wish lists while I've been out...

Re: Sep. loss C17 and C40
In one sense its a non-story.
On the other hand, maybe extra efforts will be made to reduce the occurrence of these incidents, now that the media is giving the ATC profession such bad publicity.

So the flightplan would then look like: AC#0001,902,1%,WEEK,IFR,1/14:00:00,TNG 1/15:30:00 ,120,F,902,ELLX, 1/15:32:12 ,1/16:17:12,150,F,902,ETNG AC#0002,904,1%,WEEK,IFR,1/15:00:00,TNG 1/16:30:00 ,120,F,902,ELLX, 1/16:32:12 ,1/17:17:24,150,F,902,ETNG I hope now I have it.... greets Kevin The bits in...

Re: Question about your MAIW Nato Sentrys Package
Thanks for this! I have another question. This is not clear enough for me in the TTools ReadMe. If I want that the AWACS will do two Touch'n Go's, how can I make them continue that? While on a "TNG" leg, the aircraft will continuously fly touch'n'goes. If you want it to do more touch'n'go...

Re: Question about your MAIW Nato Sentrys Package
Yes Gary I know that, but normally the E-3A's comes on Monday, so I only want that they make their Touch'n Go's on Monday. Just one more thing: AC#0001,902,1%,WEEK,IFR,1/14:00:00,TNG1/15:10:00,120, R ,4274,ELLX,1/15:13:12,1/16:13:12,150, R ,4274,ETNG AC#0002,904,1%,WEEK,IFR,1/15:00:00,TNG1/16:10:00...

Re: Ranges and restricted zones
It depends what sort of "virtual runway" was used. I think if a water runway is used (the designer might have chosen this if the waypoint is over the sea, for example), then that may display as an anchor. Otherwise they will look like a small airstrip on the map.

Re: Ranges and restricted zones
Welcome to the forum :D 3) Does every package come with a restricted zone, I noticed a NATO area between Italy and Greece and i think thats for the E-3? 4) Do you see refueling? and is it normal for not much actitty on Sundays? I don't think any packages come with a "restricted zone". If y...

Re: Best file system for FS9 ??
Looks like hard work. With the amount of stuff I've loaded into my sim over the years, it would take me over a hundred hours to re-order file-naming schemes and folder structures.

I'm hearing a mix of civilian and mil traffic on the ATC - just like FS, with all MAIW packages activated.

Re: Operation Odyssey Dawn: Libyan NFZ
Listening to Malta ATC, Solex 02 is heading towards Malta from the direction of Cyprus, "intending to operate with due regard". Anyone know what that means?

Re: ADE9X
ADE does not display approach lights in the current version. I presume you mean they don't show in ADE.
However you can still edit them in the runway properties menu.
If they don't show in FS then you have another problem... not related to ADE I would say.

Re: Runway edges
Where Mike said, I think: REX backs up the originals (or renames the folder) and replaces the files, keeping the original names.
If I'm correct, then they're in you're "Flight Simulator 9/Texture" folder.
