Re: RAF Brüggen FSX/P3D - Coming, but NOT soon....

Thank you, guys. @ John: Unfortunately not. It is just a "simple" SODE animation, you can manage it by the text menu command. AI will not open the gates. I did reflect upon an plausible alternative and did it as follows: The QRA area has two gates, to north and to south. The south one is a regular S...

Okay - here comes the second video. It shows some animations and details of the base, most spots from beyond the military areas 8)

Re: RAF Brüggen FSX/P3D - Coming, but NOT soon....

Hi all. I have to say, RAF Brüggen is still alive - it is indeed WIP, not RIP :D But due to the Covid19 history last months and the summer time without many time to use my rig, now I finally want to show the first video of the RAF Brüggen airbase. It is a bit frustrating to see so many people now ar...

Re: A brand new MS Flight Simulator is coming...

We have to seperate two groups of sim users currently: On the one hand those users who are indifferent to everything legacy at all, happy flying the default aircraft. Furthermore the simmers waiting patiently for the upcoming PMDG 737 or comparable aircraft with a lot of system details. Those who ha...

Re: A brand new MS Flight Simulator is coming...

Manfred scenery is actually quite easy to do once you have get to grips with it, I am sure someone with you expertise would have no problem. This sim was started with the original FSX code as a base. I can import all my 3D models, parking files, ground polys etc all which use the same co-ordinates ...

Re: A brand new MS Flight Simulator is coming...

I don't know why MS embarrasses all you developers by cutting the ongoing evolution of sims of the last decade? Each sim was a smooth improvement by keeping the possibility to also improve existing aircraft / sceneries without destroying it at all! Was this heavy break by designing so many complete ...

Thank you, John. That's my current dilemma, but will talk about on another occasion. Sorry for off-topic....

Re: Eurofighter Typhoon

Without wanting to damage this thread, John - do you know if there is an option for changing the seasonal ground polys via MCX as well? I am currently working hard on it at RAF Brüggen but have no possible idea so far...Only way should be SODE as mentioned above, but SODE only uses mdl files instead...

Re: New German AF Bases for P3D

I did some minor improvements (changed some landclass layer, flatten and excludes so the CVX file works fine...), but unfortunately I am not able to change some library objects, just because I can't load the appropriate libs into ADE properly. Still lots of black objects but I would like to exchange...

Re: New German AF Bases for P3D

Simply try it  .

Most livery objects are from FSX. If the ADE files will not work properly in FSX (if maybe it is done for P3D), you should be able to load the airports in the latest ADE version and compile it into FSX...

Hi Steve,

any good news? How is it possible to maybe extend the starting time (from the point when the reds disappear and the aircraft is pushing back for example to the point when the engine starts...)?
