Ron and Jake, I agree that ofcourse it's desirable but at the very end this is a right, when the model exported, is, the model you have designed. Mike, what kind of error do you get? Are sure you have setup correctly the FSX SDK SP1 and the BglComp path to FSDS V3.5? IMPORTANT - To those haven't visited yet the military ai aircraft design section I would recommend to do that. I have posted there some observations after some testing I did last night with FSDS V3.5 by exporting models with makemdl and xtomdl for comparison into fsx which look very very promising.....

Hi Steve, Mainly from experience, but also after reading some topics in FFDS in the past, I would say that it's not a LOD issue and there is nothing wrong with the models. It's is just the FS strange behavior. Some models are loosing their textures in closer distances comparing to some other models....
