Re: Panavia Tornado
This morning I sent the RAF Germany Tornado GR1's and the Tornado F3's (separate packages for FS9 and FSX/P3Dv4) for inclusion in the Download Hangar. I also sent a comprehensive paint kit of .psd files that should enable users to repaint any of the JYAI RAF, German and Italian Tornado's, including ...

To put the Italians on the same footing as the RAF examples, I've added two more paints - tiger and standard:

Re: Panavia Tornado
I’ve gone as far as I want to go with the Tornado F3 models. I’m going to release these as aircraft only packages for FS9 and FSX/P3Dv4. There are 4 models in each package: Armed, Unarmed, Clean and a Canopy Closed model to give variety to the parking. I’ve concentrated on producing a standard squad...

Re: Panavia Tornado
Thanks Giorgio. It was the P3Dv4 scenery that Ian is producing for the TTTE aircraft that I was referring to. The TTTE FS9 versions can of course be placed in Brian's scenery if users would like to do that. I still have to paint them yet of course. The F3 models for the 3 sim versions are all done a...

Re: Prepar3d v4
Joe, I've just been to Yuma to verify my installation. This is what I see: https://i.imgur.com/gkSuSwQ.jpg This is in P3Dv4.0.28.21686. These are the files in my Yuma\scenery folder: https://i.imgur.com/MW4PQFW.jpg In the "removed" folder are the 3 VT files. Do you have the same? John

Re: Panavia Tornado
The 56 Tornado GR1's have been completed for Manfred's fantastic work in progress RAF Brüggen. Here's a sample of 15 of them at my test airfield, including the colourful ones: https://i.imgur.com/4oxPhjG.jpg I'll be packing them up for general release ahead of the scenery as previously discussed, bu...

Re: Panavia Tornado
Thanks Steve. If I am going to include the call signs in the TTTE packages, although they won't be released for a while yet, I'll also need ALIEN, BANSHEE, CAMEL and TANGO for FS9 and FSX/P3Dv4. I was happy just to include them as entries in the aircraft.cfg files, but if anyone wants to pull them t...

Re: JASDF Bases
No problem. I have the TTTE Tornado paints to do and the F-3 assembly with a specimen paint for each Squadron. I made the F3 parts at the outset of the Tornado project, so that shouldn't be a huge job. I'll do the T-7s after that.

Re: Panavia Tornado
Thanks Steve, I wasn't going to fish it out and it wouldn't be FSX/P3Dv4 compatible in any case. I just wanted to know how to type it so the aircraft stay out of the GA slider.

Do you need the Fuji-T7's Brent, especially for use in P3Dv4?

Re: Panavia Tornado
Thanks Henk, so do I simply code the Italian atc airline= entries as "A.M.I." ? I assume the dots will cause the characters to be pronounced phonetically and that no EVP file is necessary.

Re: Panavia Tornado
Thanks Henk, I imported the list into MS Word so I could search it and found the TTTE signs for the RAF and German aircraft (nothing for the Italians) and also MACAW and MACHO for the TWCU (45(R) Sqn). Great resource, now saved in my documents folder.

Re: Panavia Tornado
Could anyone tell me what call sign(s) were used by 45(R) Squadron Tornados at Honington and also the TTTE at Cottesmore please? I want to insert them into the aircraft.cfg file for the UK GR1's/GR1A's to force the aircraft out of the GA category in FSX and P3D and save a few problems for people who...

Re: Panavia Tornado
Pete has flagged to me that my Marham scenery for P3Dv4 has a few stray default taxiway signs surviving the FSX excludes that I carried over. Having verified that and also noting that the default ILS glideslope tower is also keeping my custom one company, I produced the attached P3Dv4 exclude that g...

Re: Panavia Tornado
Yes indeed Guenther they are obsolete - they drive the FMAI Tornado as deployed at Marham in 2010. For the current RAF deployment you need only the traffic file in my GR4 packages.

I explained the situation with call signs in my post of the 11th December (Page10).
I you want to delete the atc_flight_number in the aircraft.cfg file, then by all means do.

Re: Panavia Tornado
I don't think I need to trouble Kev with some GR4 tests. I managed to change out the afterburner packs in every P3Dv4 Tornado model this morning and I viewed everyone successfully in a take-off test. I've updated the 4 main zips and sent them to Greg to swap them for the ones in the Hangar when he n...
