Re: F-111E/F and EF111A (JY)
I don't know how I didn't spot that the ribbons were permanently attached Steve - I don't usually make mistakes like that. What surprised me also is that there have been 928 downloads of the FS9 F-111 aircraft (USAF + RAAF) over a period of 17 months, yet this is the first time the problem was repor...

Re: F-111E/F and EF111A (JY)
I've just uploaded the "Remove Before Flight" ribbon fix for the RAAF Pave Tack and Mk82 Bomb load-outs to flightsim.com. Too late for today, but it should be in tomorrow's new files. Only needed for the FS9 version.
The file is called:
JY_AI_F111C_1_Fix.zip.

Re: F-111E/F and EF111A (JY)
Your quite right Coen, some of the tags are still visible in the Mk82 and Pave Tack FS9 models after engine start (the other two models are fine). Sorry about that. I've just corrected the linking and re-compiled the models and all looks fine now. The files are too big to append to this post, but if...

Re: How to make military ramps look more realistic
Mike, I've responded to the same question you posted at ACG. You can use the new GP facilities in ADE1.6 with your own custom textures, or if you want even better control, Gmax with export via the GP wizard in ModelConverterX.

Re: Looking for a Hangar Model
I found quite a few examples at Bagram in Google Earth. They are all about 20 metres (66ft) wide and seem to be used in 3 different lengths. The height seems to be the same for each because the shadows doesn't vary. So, I have made one model of each length x 3 door configurations: closed/open, open/...

Re: Looking for a Hangar Model
Leave that with me then and I'll have them done by this time tomorrow probably. Could you PM me your e-mail address please so that I can get the files to you. I'll post a screen shot here too in case anyone else wants the models.

Re: Looking for a Hangar Model
I made a number of them for my RAF Marham scenery with a choice of door configurations: http://i588.photobucket.com/albums/ss323/Bitmap512/Marham/RUBS1.jpg I can change the colour to sand if that would help. I can also make the model bigger to match the one in the photograph if you could tell me the...

Re: Wattisham '91
Wattisham is coming on well. Stevo has been busy with the Technical and Domestic site (these are temporary textures until we get the real thing) and he has taken the lead with help from Pete Beeby to explore the new ground polygon facilities in ADE1.6 along with the more labour intensive but slightl...

Re: Thw Owl has changed the nest....
The new site works wonderfully Martin. Response time for anything I clicked on was less than 2 seconds, including all of the screen shots from the galleries.
Well done and thank you.

Re: Wattisham '91
The two HAS areas are now complete (apart from GSE) and I've just finished planting the two large wooded areas with trees. Stevo is working on the Hangar area, while awaiting some information about the control tower. http://i588.photobucket.com/albums/ss323/Bitmap512/Wattisham/Overview1_zps939c700d....

Those paints look gorgeous. I had to look carefully to confirm they were my models. Very well done indeed and thanks for the value-add.

Wattisham '91
Having produce a mountain of AI aircraft now, I was coming to the conclusion that while that's fine for some people, for many others, it's not a lot of value without an airfield and flight plans to operate them from. I decided therefore to tackle something I've wanted to do for a while now (the airf...

Re: RAF Valley 2013/14
Matt, if it's of any help, the last aerial airfield image that was bought at ACG cost around £30 for a freeware licence.

Re: RAF Valley 2013/14
That looks excellent Matt. Could I just ask please, because it's relevant to something I'm playing with at the moment, how you will publish your airfield image below the runways and taxiways? Will that be as a photo-real image or will you use xml polygon grass in some way?

I uploaded the Argosy packages to flightsim.com early this morning and they should be available later today: http://i588.photobucket.com/albums/ss323/Bitmap512/Argosy/flightline_zpsc06d9752.jpg http://i588.photobucket.com/albums/ss323/Bitmap512/Argosy/white_zpsb31b2ae2.jpg http://i588.photobucket.co...

Absolutely. There's a much better chance of you finishing it before I would even start it, I would have thought.

Re: RAF Transports
That's about 500 hours work that would tie me up for about 3 or 4 months. Having finished the Argosy request last month, I'm actually working on my own project at the moment and I don't really want to break off to do more RAF transports. It's great to be valued, but it's the 5th request I've had tod...

Re: RAF Transports
Yes, it's an interesting history. I made the RAF models at the request of Brian for his retro Benson scenery and I have no real interest in continuing into the civilian version. That would involve a new fuselage and animated nose door as well as some significant re-mapping of the textures. That's fo...

Afraid not. I can't see a lot of demand for that and the work involved wouldn't be justified.

The Argosy is all done. Just waiting Brian to package up his Benson scenery and I'll upload the aircraft at the same time.
