Re: Newbie ADE question
There is a known problem with the FSX T45 and Hawk conversions caused by a corrupt .fx file. See this thread https://militaryaiworks.com/forums/1/18786 . This can cause the 6025 error and a crash to desktop. I don't know if it will stop them from moving, but it might be worth try.

Re: FS9 Westland Wasp HAS.1
Here you go, first cut of a Royal Navy paint, keeping the Hunters company at Yeovilton. Still needs a bit of work to tidy it up, but I've got plenty of time on my hands at the moment. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49813441032_382a192d0f_z.jpg wasp by Derek Taylor , on Flickr https://live.stati...

Re: FS9 Westland Wasp HAS.1
Thanks for your reply Jon. I use Gimp which doesn't support psp format. When I tried to open it I got an error message saying it couldn't open, and I spent some time on Google last night which confirms that Gimp doesn't support .psp. it's not a huge problem, I can always make my own paint kit.

Re: FS9 Westland Wasp HAS.1
Sean, is it possible to have a copy of the paint kit in .psd format. I don't have PSP and I can't open the .psp file or convert it. I would love to paint some Royal Navy versions of your Wasp.
Thanks a lot.

Re: Converting DDS textures to DXT3 for use in FS9
I can do FS9 versions of my repaints if people want them. As John says it doesn't take long to do them. I'll start by converting the Hercules repaints.

Yes they are for Johns C-130s. Both models are in the Canada package.

Re: JYAI C-130J Specials
With all the excellent C-130 repaints being released at the moment I thought I would share some of mine. I have just uploaded retro repaints for the Hercules C1s and C3s used by the RAF as they were in the 1980s. The Hercules C1 uses the CC-130H73 model, whilst the Hercules C3 uses the CC-130H-30 mo...

Re: RunTime Error Problem
Thanks for this. I had been suffering from the R6025 Runtime Error recently as well. I'd chased it down to the Hawks, but I thought it was a texture/alpha problem.
Downloaded and installed the .fx file and everything works ok now.

Re: Looking for the USCG MH-65 Dolphin
The second leg starts at 21:23 on day 5 and ends at 00:42 on day 5. This makes the flight almost a week long. You need to change the end time to 6/00:42, and then change all the subsequent days to match.
Hope this helps.

Re: FSX/P3D Trainer & Fighter Conversions
Thank you Steve. You are correct 63 an 151 squadron were part of 2 TWU at Chivenor. I haven't painted their aircraft yet, but they are on my to do list. 63 sqn and 151 sqn became 19 and 92 sqns in 1992, and then moved to Valley around 94. I painted the aircraft as they were in the mid 80's, this was...

I have just uploaded the FSX repaints for the RAF Valley and RAF Brawdy Hawks. I still have to convert the paints to FS9 format. Hopefully, I'll get that done over the next couple of days.

Re: FSX/P3D Trainer & Fighter Conversions
John, sorry but the textures are in .dds format so they won't work with FS9. The textures are flipped in .dds format. I'll see if I can release the paints in DXT3 format for FS9 as well.

Re: FSX/P3D Trainer & Fighter Conversions
I've started to paint the FSX NBAI Hawk with the Red/White paint scheme. I've still got a few to do to finish them off. I'll try and get them finished and uploaded this week. I've also painted the Brawdy Hawks. I didn't realize there was an FS9 set out there. Anyway, I'll upload those as well. Does ...

Re: JYAI USMC KC-130T
I use gimp for my repaints. I export the paint as a .jpg in gimp and then convert it to dds in DXTBMP. Note in gimp you have to use export for the paint, and select the format you want. Save only saves the .xcf file. I found exporting as a .bmp gave funny results when converted to dds or dxt3 so I a...
