I was just writing a term paper that included a section on thrust reversers and I began to wonder why C-17s usually (always?) park with their thrust reverser cascade vanes open?
thanks.

Selfridge Flight Pics
So far this year I've managed to get rides in a Chinook and a KC-135 out of Selfridge... so why not throw some pictures up. Enjoy! Quick KC-135 Repaint Request
Selfridge KC-135's transfered from the 927th AFRC to the 127th ANG and therefore have new paint schemes. I was wondering if someone could make a quick repaint for the AI -135 in the new colors for me... Here are some pictures, any takers? http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/1621/127arg6jq3.png http:/...

I have my little scenery project back on track, thanks. :D However I couldn't get the object library that I downloaded to open in Rwy12. I used a few converters but it never gets it in a completely readible format for some reason, although it is very close. I think it has something to do with it bei...

Not sure if anyone has seen this before. Short video from the NFL on game flybys. Includes some cool HUD video of a Bears game flyover by Battle Creek A-10s

Thanks, that is really good to hear. And since I already have Rwy12, could I just convert the BGL file to an XML and use it in that? If I could do that it would kill two birds w/ one stone.... I downloaded John Stinstrom's GSSE object library from avsim but there is only a BGL and no XML file. So ho...

Need help rotating a scenery
My brother and I were working on a small non-mil airport scenery a few months back. It was just about done when we stopped working on it and we have since lost the original GMAX files for it. So my question is, is it possible to rotate the scenery objects using just the BGL files, because that is al...

I know I've seen repaints for CBP AS-350/EC-120, and I think a Homeland Security Dash 8, but not the stock bird. Check avsim.com The CBP H-60 can be found over at Hovercontrol.com. Thanks, I'll give those a go. Mike, I think most people would be surprised if they knew how much goes on on the nother...

US DHS/Border Patrol Air Wing Aircraft Repaints
Selfridge was awarded the 5th Northern Border Air Wing and as such I would like to make flightplans for their (future) aircraft. However, so far I've had a pretty fruitless search for required aircraft repaints. Therefore I was wondering if anyone here could point me in the direction of DHS/BP repai...

Is this the Alphasim MH-53J flying in these photos? I've been using a model I found on hovercontrol.com for flyable and with the stemme motorglider fde for AI. It does alright for AI. If you are using the Gordon Perry scenery for Hurlburt, the AFCAD2 does not line up with the new MAIW package. Keit...
