Re: Royal Air Force retires last Dominie trainers

The annual five-a-side football tournament for all RAF ATC units plus Belga Radar and (this year also) Dutch Mil at RAF Shawbury.

It's mostly about drinking and having fun actually, not so much about the football :P

Re: Royal Air Force retires last Dominie trainers

I guess they just want to play like the big boys

I'm coming to the Shawbury Fives with Belga Radar by the way. Maybe see you there.

Re: MAIW in the future

I bought FSX on the first day of its European release, but I don't have the feeling I'm missing out now that I have uninstalled it again. I could never get the graphics and detail to the same level as I now have in FS9, let alone with all the AI traffic I've been gathering in the last 8 years or so....

Re: Algerian C130H

I had two individual QJJ C-130's crossing Belgian airspace this morning that are not on your list. They flew from DAAK to EHEH requesting FL220.

They used their registrations as callign: 7T-WHB and 7T-WHO.

When you do "Update Voicepack", do you select ICAO phraseology?

Re: Edit Voicepack help

Thanks Greg, that did the trick. :smt023 Glad it worked my friend. This way is a lot easier than having to figure out what phrase it is and creating a custom voicepack  Greg I see by your profile signature that BAF is/will be 65 yrs ! Will that be this yr? Anything planned ? Speaking of Belgi...

Re: Edit Voicepack help

Mike try this: In EVP, go to "Standard Modifications" -> "Phraseology". Normally in your setup, "FAA" will have its box ticked and "ICAO" not, right? Now go into "ICAO" and tick the box "AC_TWR_POSITION_AND_HOLD". Only that box. Save and do...

There is a departure before arrival error in this leg though:

Re: My Flightplans

I tend to add a 1 at the end like FL301 to get some separation when spawning if it is a multiple flight. Sure, but the leader is flying at FL300 right? Technically, ICAO dictates that all elements of a formation should be at the same level and within 1NM horizontally. This can be changed to 100' ve...

Re: My Flightplans

Hey James. I'm installing some of your Yak-40 plans and stumbled upon something I had noticed before: be aware that Rip's Flightplan Generator gives totally random, unrealistic and even impossible flight levels. Now you can choose to keep those flight levels which is your right, but if you want to m...

Re: Canadian Hornets package by Desmond Burrell

Brian I moved your screenshots here to keep everything together.

I just checked again and the landclass is showing just fine on a clean setup, so I think it is a conflict with another addon. Are you using Ultimate Terrain Canada/Alaska or a similar product?
