Re: VFA-204 Update

75-80% of their mission tasking is for adversary support. They use the same training matrix as VFC and NSAWC squadrons for the adversary mission. They didn't take up a VFC designation as they are still a surge squadron and could be deployed with an airwing.

Ok stop this is getting out of hand! HA, thanks for the early gifts. Combat Aircraft Monthly just had an article on Moody AFB CSAR assets, lots of shots of the HH-60G, including the Wing Cdr bird with "teeth".

Re: Repaints for FAB UH-60, UH-1, etc

Still working with the airfile from other AI models based off the original "stremme_glider" version. I am looking at lewis's H-3 pack he did as well, but the models fly slow approaches, then stop quick. You could change up the AFCAD to, there was some work being done on NS Norfolk that has...

Re: Win 7

Good looking system for sure. Now that 7 is out and everyone seems to have no issues, I need to narrow my search down on a replacement laptop. I think my FS9 knows this, recently when I load it all my preset keyboard assignments are missing, even the default ones! Must be a FS9.cfg issue or something.

Are these pics cropped for a reason, like a sneak peek? Looks like the Hovercontrol J. Moore model.
If you need any research help let me know. My background (SH-60F/HH-60H/UH-60A/L)

Re: Repaints for FAB UH-60, UH-1, etc

Graham,
You have always been the "man" in my book with accurate paints, but now you have my upmost respect with my bird the H-60. Now just need some Medevac repaints of my company and I'll get all the tail numbers.

Huge Thanks!

Re: Repaints for FAB UH-60, UH-1, etc

Graham thanks again. No requests from me, I am trying to figure this out on my own and the first versions you released helped out tremendously. I've got the idea down, just need to work on the skill part of the equation.

Re: Repaints for FAB UH-60, UH-1, etc

Outstanding as always Graham, just got to my home cpu and loaded up the repaints. These are perfect and seem easy enough to do all current USN HSC squadrons that fly the MH-60S. As you can see on various sites like airliners.net, the Navy has become more relaxed on paint schemes for CAG birds, entir...

Re: Repaints for FAB UH-60, UH-1, etc

Well, I didn't know the expert would get involved, but thanks alot Graham! It might be easy to have a base OD green for Army, Gunship Gray for USAF, and a Gray for USN. I have just been replacing the airfiles with others, like the Aussie S-70A AI version that was 90% complete. I have not used AirEd ...

Re: Repaints for FAB UH-60, UH-1, etc

gator, I was directing the Hovercontrol reference to MIKEJG for his knowledge. I have the model you are talking about and will try to post some pics. Again, my very first attempt at painting might be too much detail as I tried to just use other textures on this model, it's AI, so the repaints don't ...

Re: RAF Merlin crash at NAF El Centro

Joecoastie,
Those are scary in the back as well in the SH-60. One of the reasons I hated doing night ASW, didn't really want to give blood for losing a sonar dome to Neptune.
