LAKENHEATH F-111

Post by dk1213 »

Hey guys, is anyone else experiencing an error when you have the JYAI F-111 Lakenheath traffic activated? I get some virtual call error, I think its R025 if I remember correctly. If I remove the F-111 traffic file from Lakenheath, no errors. Any ideas?

Yep, the problem is the effects. What afterburner effect have you got it using?

Wow never would have thought of that. I am not using the file right now, which one should they have? I will make the appropriate changes and send the F-111's back up @ Lakenheath.

Turns out mine are using fx_JY1aftburn.fx .... what do i swap them to?

OK, simply put you can't just put in effects that are used for flyable planes. The burners have to be AI engine friendly or .... well you know what happens.
A quick check of the original cfg file says that fx_nbai_F15_ext_ab is used.

Strange, as I never modified them after I downloaded the package they came with. The switch is no big deal, but I have ALOT of F-111's in my sim, all seem to run ok except this one. I will change them up. No biggie.
