Hereby I present to you Bagram Air base, located in Afghanistan
I have used the most recent google earth and Bing maps satellite images to place the runways, taxiways, objects, etc
The Scenery objects are not custom made, but are from a variety of available object library's, from which i tried to use the ones that had the most resemblance to the real thing.
I have not included the big area of support and housing facilities, this because it would have taken a lot of time and i would probably be a frame rate killer anyway.
AI parking codes included are set for my own use, feel free to edit them.
I am also aware of a new Helicopter ramp build at the south- eastern part of the runway, but I have not included it because I couldn't find any clear pictures of it. I may add it in the future if the demand is there,
A special thanks goes out to John Young for allowing me to use and upload his beautifully created FSX Clamshell Shelters which are a common site at coalition middle-eastern air bases.

This scenery was created and tested in FSX, I don't know if it works in FS9. You can try to convert it, but I don't know the outcome.
In the coming days I wil also upload: Al Dhafra, Mazar e Sharrif and Al Udeid. Al Minhad is already available on the forum
Kandahar will also be done, but will take some time, because its huge!
Have fun flying!
Best regards,
Randy Mulder

Yep I tried but they don't show up in FS9 on my setup.
I loaded them in ADE and compiled them again in FS9 format and everything showed up except the FSX Clamshell Shelters.
There is a much less detailed substitute in the Bagotville Object Library. bgl, item 016 which you can use.
Ed
P.S. the modifications I made are for personal use.

Ah I have these, forgot that I had asked John Young for these some time ago.
Still have to figure out how to convert those MDL files in to a library.

Simply with Library Creator. (http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/resour ... or-xml.86/ or http://www.scenerydesign.org/library-creator-xml/)
It's a very simple software. You put all MDL you want, and it create a BGL file.
