Post by flynby »

Looking for the AI Lockheed Starlifter C-141. Tried the search with no luck. Can someone help or tell me where the MAC white is found?

When searching after an AI model or AI repaint, you can use this web site : http://www.owlsnest.eu/aiaircraft_old.php

There is no other AI model of C-141, only the HTAI model.

You can also get a nice camo version with the Team SDBs RAF Upper Heyford scenery for FSX but its payware. £7.02 on Flightsim!

David, I might be misunderstanding the term AI's *not* flyable. I assume the AI C-141 will open and shut the rear cargo doors and land and take off. Does this model do that? Thanks

There's no door animation on the HTAI C-141. Given proper flight plans the aircraft will takeoff fly to a new destination and land.

If you want to fly around in a UI C-141 the old payware alphasim C-141 is now unsupported freeware.

flynby,

As far as I know the Team SDB C-141 is only AI, I haven't noticed any animations whilst on the ground. I've added mine into some other flight-plans so it now drops into ACG's RAF Woodbridge & Bentwaters so next time I'm flying by I'll have a look.

A word of caution here Team SDB approached AI model builders to allow them to use existing models in their sceneries. Nick supplied his B-1 to them, which is how I know.

So you could be paying money for Upper Heyford scenery to get the HTAI C-141.

Firebird,

Good point, hadn't thought of that. Its still a nice bit of scenery in the package also although a tad basic compared to anything by ACG and MAIW.
