Italian Typhoon

Post by bismarck »

Hi, now that I've finished my Gioia del Colle airport (LIBV), is there someone who can repaint NB Typhoon in 36th Wing colors?
Here are some shots:

http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.s ... a1b6f9b3f0

of these aircrafts :
36-01 MM 7276
36-02 MM 7273
36-03 MM 7272
36-04 MM 7235
36-06 MM 7276
36-10 MM 7284
36-12 MM 7271
36-21 MM 7279
36-22 MM 7296
36-23 MM 7297

Scramble.nl says they shoulb be from 36-01 to 36-12.Doesn't match with photos I've found.

Giorgio, check this link for the Italian Air Force serial numbers:

http://www.ondutchwings.nl/db/italy.php

It may be more accurate than Scramble.

Well, no ones seems to be interested in this repaint    , so I try to do it by myself  .
I haven't any experience in repainting....
I've used DXTbmp to convert the texture in DXT3 format but the result is blurred paint. The small modified numbers are not clear and the biggers are confused/blurred. Also the roundels that I didn't modify, are not as the original was.
Any suggestion?

when saving your DXT3 make sure the MIPMAP box is unchecked on the right hand side panel (or paints will be blurred).

In the last days, some users ask for this little job I did.
If someone other is interested, I've uploaded it here :
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=G8B66BG0
In attach, the flightplans.

Ciao, Giorgio
