Does this mean he's back or is it an old file re-uploaded following the hack, I wonder?

Technical notes about traffic and afcad files :
Each Big-E can carry fourteen AI aircraft. But only seven F-4B (plus two A-6 if you install the retro scheme) will appear with this package. To avoid some limitations of the FS AI engine, each one of the fourteen AI aircraft have its dedicated traffic and its parking's spot reserved. Twelve of them will fly on a short VFR pattern every twenty minutes (less than 10 minutes in flight, day or night). Two of them will fly on an IFR pattern (something like 15 minutes in flight, daylight only).

Current arrangement is
(where the X letter represent the Big-E carrier: 1=San Diego ; 2=Norfolk ; 8=Sicily ; E=Yankee Station)

AI name Parking code Notes
CVX_01 CV01 F-4B VFR First squadron
CVX_02 CV02 n/a VFR
CVX_03 CV03 F-4B VFR Second squadron
CVX_04 CV04 A-6 VFR
CVX_05 CV05 F-4B VFR First squadron
CVX_06 CV06 n/a VFR
CVX_07 CV07 F-4B VFR First squadron
CVX_08 CV08 A-6 VFR
CVX_09 CV09 n/a VFR
CVX_10 CV10 n/a VFR

You can improve the model having smoke effect by Nick Needham in your FS2004/FS9 effects folder.
(fx_nicksmokeAI_sm_lear.fx can be found into nicksaijetexhaust.zip @ avsim)

NB: The smoke fx can look strange when the model goes to take off. I recommend a small modification of the fx file to minimize the problem.

a/ First, try to work with a copy of the original file. Name this copy : fx_nicksmokeAI_sm_lear_f4.fx (the aircraft.cfg file are ready to use this file)
b/ Open this file with notepad. You will find five emitters
c/ Change the delay of each emitter with the following values :

[Emitter.0]
...
Delay=65.00, 66.50
...

[Emitter.1]
...
Delay=65.00, 66.50

...

[Emitter.2]
...
Delay=60.00, 60.00

...

[Emitter.3]
...
Delay=61.50, 62.50

...

[Emitter.4]
...
Delay=61.50, 62.50

d/ Save the modifications and move the file into your FS2004/FS9 effects folder
e/ Just in case, I will repeat "I take no responsibility for any damage caused during their installation or their use"

"We attack tomorrow under cover of daylight! It's the last thing they'll be expecting ... a daylight charge across the minefield .."

Its funny you mention that. It was the same thought I had.
It may be that somebody has uploaded it for him but I thought that was against their rules.
