NBAI F-15 Eagle

Post by nickblack423 »

Work starts in ernest today on the F-15 Eagle I promised. Plans for the project are:

Multi LODs (8 probably)
Multiple loadouts
Custom Animations

I'll start with the C/D, then will come the E and then the A/B for retro modellers.

CrazyDunc has already volunteered to put together the AFCADs and Flightplans for the packages.

Keep your eyes peeled here for screenshots and updates as I go.

Great news! Now I will be able to spot at PANC without my machine practically coming to a halt everytime I swing the view towards Elmendorf.

I use Dave Bushell's excellent but AI unfriendly F-15 and I keep it because it fly's and looks fantastic (plus no suitable substitute).

Outstanding!!! Can't wait for the F-15E :-) I know it is a little ways down the road but I can help with the F-15E parking and callsigns at Seymour-Johnson AFB.

Nick, I can't tell you just how much I appreciate the time you and the other modelers take to post these stage by stage pic of a models' development. I study them all carefully, and learn a bit more for each one. Again --- thanks!

Well thats how I learnt to do alot of this Ron, by studying Rysieks A-10 step by step on the forums. Its the best way for it.

Thank you Nick! I've always been perplexed as to why this aircraft has been neglected for so long. BTW, does anyone know whether the new F-15Ks that were just delivered to Korea are visually any different than the regular E model?

I guess that this means that the Israeli pack is going to be delayed and increased in size. Nice one.

Yes indeed. I'm working my way through it checking the F-16 and C-130 FPS. Also trying to get the AFCADs as close to Google Earth as possible. The F-15 will be a big bonus.

Cheers
