RAF Laarbruch 1990 - download
Okay guys at last, this one is now available to download. Due to the file size it has to be hosted elsewhere, so here is the download link;
https://www.rapidshare.com/files/158581 ... 201990.zip
There is a readme included which lists some extra files, which need to be downloaded from Avsim.
Big thanks go to Menno who did the original afcad and generously gave the okay for this project.
Also to Gert who made the VTPP file. This download features a brand new 1st Generation Hardened Aircraft Shelter which has been created by John Stinstrom. (scenery and texture files included)
Thanks also go to the guys at the Airfield Information Exchange who answered a few questions about the base.
The airport is (as usual) representative - I have never been there.
Parking codes are set for the 1990 era and you may wish to use it in conjunction with AI package by Chris Brown and Menno van den Boogaard which is available at Avsim;
http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?Ca ... LID=142711
Finally a huge thanks to Chris himself, who lasted the pace doing Beta testing. Without his input, god knows what this would have looked like.
Any feedback or problems, post them here please.
Canberra era scenery for this base will be released in a few days or so.

Monday morning, you've had your 2 days off, so get back to work.
We're waiting patiently for the next batch.....
I wish I was able to contribute as much as you're doing.
Lack of skill and ideas prevents it I'm afraid.
Love this latest bunch of sceneries Stew.
Keep up the good work.
All the best
Jim

Re: RAF Laarbruch 1990 - download
Thank you for your kind words Jim.
Got to say, that given that we've known each other for over 40 years, I would have assumed you'd be thinking "if that dumbass can do it - so can I"

Re: RAF Laarbruch 1990 - download
Been flying about in my retro RAFG.
On my way in to ETUL I noticed these bunkers standing out a bit more than others.
I did a quick check in ADE and noticed these are from the Beaufort package.
I check there and I've got the same bright colour texture.
Does anyone else have the same colouring or have I biffed up some textures somewhere?
Many Thanks
Jim

Re: RAF Laarbruch 1990 - download
Not sure what's happened there Jim.
They are somewhat lighter - as you'll see from my screenie, but yours do see a much more vibrant green.
Perhaps someone with more tech knowledge can assist.
Meantime, as with all my stuff, if there's bits you don't like, or bits you think you can improve - go for it.

Cheers Stew
Thought it would be something I've got wrong.
Now got to try and work out what texture I've biffed up.

You might try sending John Stinstrom a PM.jimrodger wrote:Cheers Stew

Jim
He created the Beaufort MCAS scenery and could probably ID the texture file used for the bunkers.
