I admit that I thought that they were grey, albeit it a paler grey than the others, but I have nothing concrete to state one way or the other.John Young wrote:He has also repainted the aircraft in white (I was convinced they were grey from photographs).

For those that are interested there is a really nice freeware scenery for Gimae (for FS9). It includes the military side of the airport.

Please check this photo:

South Korean Peace Eyes looks very light grey, no white. See the serial N735JS in the fuselage.

Here I found another one:

Notice the rectangle of the serial code behind the wing flaps.

Re: JYAI P-8 Poseidon and B-737 AEW&C
Thanks to John Tenn, we now have the 4 Indian Navy P-8As at Raijali, India (the fourth is under the canopy):
Thanks to a great effort by all the contributors here, the whole project is rapidly coming to a conclusion. The only unit that's not catered for are the 5 P-8As of USN VP-5. I understood that they were currently deployed to Shaikh Isa AB, Bahrain, but I can't find any corroborative evidence of that on the net. I did find a press article covering a briefing for deployment in March 2016, but it didn't say where. However, if it was for the usual 6 months, they would be back at Jacksonville by now in any case. I'll add them into the Jacksonville traffic file I think.
VP-8 at Kadena might also be due to return this month, but since Brent has already set them up there, I'm going to leave them in place.
It's always going to be difficult to cater for deployments over time. The simplest solution probably, is to leave it to users to deploy units as and when they want.

If you would tolerate a bit of a quick rework, since I made the VP-8 files for you they have indeed returned from deployment and been replaced by VP-10. It should be a relatively quick update to FP and parking codes.John Young wrote:VP-8 at Kadena might also be due to return this month, but since Brent has already set them up there, I'm going to leave them in place.
VP-5 did indeed end it's deployment and has returned to Jacksonville. VP-45 is now at Sigonella though. Dang squadrons need to stay put for a while.

Re: JYAI P-8 Poseidon and B-737 AEW&C
Musical chairs it is then. I've put VP-5 into Jacksonville. If you could swap VP-8 for VP10 at Kadena Brent that would be great. I'll then put VP-8 into Jacksonville.
I'll remove VP-45 from Jacksonville, but I need to work out how to accommodate them at Sigonella. From a quick forum search, I see that John Stinstrom made some really good looking scenery for the base (licz_js.zip at Avsim). With John's permission, is this the AFCAD I should amend?

Re: JYAI P-8 Poseidon and B-737 AEW&C
Apologies for the delay guys, I've had some issues with FSX and needed to do a re-install (more than once).
Anyway, the E-7 voicepacks are done and in John's ftp folder (E-7A.zip)
Have included a choice of 4 model designators as well as standard callsigns for overseas flights (Aussie, Korean AF and Turkish AF). Both 2004 and FSX versions are included.
If you need any changes or additions, just let me know.

Re: JYAI P-8 Poseidon and B-737 AEW&C
Thanks Stewart.
I don't want to get too far ahead with new projects or I will forget how this one fits together. I'd like to just finish what I'm doing at the moment and then package up the Poseidons and Wedgetails with the sceneries that have been produced by then and get them out. That should be in a couple of week's time. Any remaining sceneries that can't be finished by then can be released separately of course, in whatever time is needed.

YPED is finished all bar the plumbing of the taxiways. Currently my man cave is having new windows so will be U/S until the weekend so JY will have the scenery by the go date.
