Re: Dans bits & bobs
Pretty much exactly that
There's a lot of dead links on there I notice, got the sceneries I wanted no problem. The ai package with the Il-76, L-39 & An-12 looked nice, but that's a dead link.

Re: Dans bits & bobs
Just uploaded a shed load of Russian callsigns to the hangar for use in FSX only. They're based on this website:http://www.udxf.nl/Russian-Air-Force-Callsign-List.pdf
You'll have to use you imagination a bit but that link will give you an idea of what callsigns to use for certain aircraft.
Cheers,
Dan

Re: Dans bits & bobs
Yes I read about that.
Apparently when it was based at Farnborough as part of the Met Research Flight it used that callsign. When it finished there it was moved to Boscombe as part of DERA and was used as a testbed for the A400M engine.
What I didn't know, until today, was that the MRF also used a Canberra PR3, WE173, which also had the same nose probe.

The history of the Met Research Flight, and its predecessors and successors, is covered well here.

Re: Dans bits & bobs
Now I'm finished with the S-92's & my system is back up & running I'm looking at doing some more projects. I have a few ideas in mind, the first I'd like to do are the German Air Force CH-53's for Menno's model now that it's been converted to FSX & P3D. The German Army ones are done but they're retro now & look different to the air force examples. With that said I need someone to pick up the paint brush for these as my painting skills are appalling. Also if someone has full access to the scramble database can someone provide the serials as well please. Any takers for this?

Dan,
Did you get the serials/unit allocations? If not, let me know and I will send them over.
